Midweek Update

This last Sunday, we had part two of the series Building a Higher Consciousness –“God in You.” We are using the book The Five Principles as our companion to this series. It’s quite a concept to think about. Consider this analogy: If God is the ocean, each of us is a wave. We all have the same potential that Jesus displayed. He calls on us to not only do what he did but to do greater works. Now that’s setting the bar high! But we all have the potential. As we raise our consciousness higher we are lifting up not only ourselves but we are also contributing to the evolution of consciousness of the world! So when I say that at Unity In Marin we are not just interested in changing our own lives but also the world, this is how it happens.

We also are offering a Wednesday evening book study for The Five Principles. This format is like our annual home book-study format. The only difference is that it’s being offered at the church on Wednesday nights. This is just another way to take these concepts deeper.

Co-creating with God

This coming Sunday will be part three of our five-part series on building a higher consciousness. This week we will be concentrating on the concept of co-creating with God. In Unity we also call this the Law of Mind Action. Recently it’s become more familiar as the law of attraction. I look forward to exploring this on Sunday. See you at 9:30 or 11:15am.

Midweek Services Tonight, Mar. 3 at 7:15pm

You are invited to join our Mid-week Silent Meditation Circle on Wednesday, March 3, in the sanctuary starting promptly at 7:15 p.m-8:00 p.m. Prayer Chaplain, Caroline McKinnon creates this sacred circle which supports simply sitting and being with the Presence. Bring a pillow or cushion if appropriate for your own comfort or practice.

Next Week: Our Chaplain Prayer Service is on Wednesday, March 10, from 7:15-8:15 p.m. in the sanctuary. Under the direction of Prayer Chaplain Ric Lobosco, facilitator of ongoing Forgiveness Workshops will facilitate the evening service. New Prayer Chaplains provide hands-on prayer at your request.

This Friday night, March 5th, 7:00-9:00pm

learn to move your body in new ways to more

fully embody and express your Divine Self.

As we said "Goodbye" to our beloved Carmen Marie Coleman last week I was once again struck by the warmth and generosity this community so lovingly expresses. I know Carmen is exceedingly grateful for the outpouring of love and well wishes.
