Unity In Marin Workshop Proposal Information

Thank you for your interest in presenting a workshop at Unity in Marin.

As an interfaith spiritual community, Unity recognizes all faiths and religions as a path to One Presence, One God.  Our vision is to provide a loving and supportive community which teaches practical Christianity and encourages spiritual growth and action.

Guided by this vision, our community offers frequent classes to deepen understanding of Unity principles.  We also recognize that people have different paths to learning.  Therefore, through Special Curriculum, our Education Ministry  offers a variety of  workshops through the year which enhance individual spiritual growth.

To assure that your proposal receives the attention it deserves and to assist our decision making we ask that you do the following.

First, please review our contract which outlines our mutual obligations and understandings should we proceed to schedule a workshop.  That contract is available at this page on our website: www.unityinmarin.org/sccontract .

Secondly, please submit a one page proposal which includes the following information:

• The name and content of the workshop including what portion of your work will be interactive
• Contact information (name, e-mail and address, phone)
• Proposed  dates
• The format (lecture, film, experiential are examples)
• The length of the workshop/presentation
• A discussion of how your work aligns with Unity principles and how these principles are incorporated into your workshop/presentation
• A description of the experience/growth or change you envision for participants.
• Your intended audience? (singles, couples, adults, children..)
• The intended size of your group/audience
• Your anticipated facility space and equipment needs
